At Sana Paila, our mission is to eradicate oral diseases and promote overall health by spreading awareness and providing free dental services to those in need.
Sana Paila, founded in 2021, is a non-profit organization committed to improving oral health in marginalized communities across Eastern Nepal. Led by Dr. Meera Acharya, our mission is to create a clean, healthy, and prosperous society free from tobacco-related diseases and oral cancer. Through dental camps, health screenings, and educational campaigns, we are making significant strides in community health and well-being.
We conduct a variety of programs including free dental check up, oral cancer screening, hygiene maintenance campaign, free oral hygiene kit and informative leaflets and banners distribution related to oral health, ill effects of tobacco, and ways to prevent cancer campaigns in schools, colleges, orphanage, old age homes, rehabilitation centers, factories and for general population as needed. We also include free dental check up, oral cancer screening, hygiene maintenance campaign ,free oral hygiene kit and informative leaflets distribution related to oral health, hygiene and inclusion of oral health facilities in health insurance scheme of the Nepal health insurance.
in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Biratnagar Central at Birat Deaf Secondary Schools, wherein 150 students were benefitted with oral screening, oral health awareness, free oral hygiene program kits (dental kits - paste & brush) were also distributed to all the participants along with the teachers & staff of the school.
We are committed to improving oral health by conducting free dental workshops, screenings, and hygiene campaigns in schools. These programs educate children on proper oral care, preventing dental issues, and building lifelong healthy habits. Through interactive sessions and the distribution of dental kits, we empower children to prioritize their oral health effectively.
We aim to raise awareness about the risks of tobacco use and promote early detection of oral cancer through free screenings, educational seminars, and informative materials. Our programs empower individuals to make informed decisions and prioritize their health.
